Hi, my name is Melanie Weldon-Soiset, and I've held many roles over the years: teacher, student, poet, pastor, immigrant, and #ChurchToo survivor. The way I best describe myself, however, is "God's Poem." One day that'll be on my epitaph. In the meantime, I love to abide in the hammock under my neighbor's maple tree, bike on local greenways, or enjoy an evening fire.
