I am honored that Amethyst Review has just published my poem “Triptych for Cosmic Music,” which is my attempt to make sense out of the global chaos of the past two years. I can’t say I have it all “figured out” yet, nor can I put into prose what this pandemic is all about. All I know is I wrote this poem over a year ago, and it still captures some key images and insights that prose just can’t reach for me. Even today, on Christmas Eve, almost two years into COVID.
What about you? What poetry are you writing? I’d be honored to hear any thoughts in the comments below about poetry’s role in helping you metabolize all that has happened since 2020.
